Are Your Prescriptions Affected By Walgreens?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am one that knows how important some medications can be for an individual, especially when you can’t get them when you need them.

I am sad to read online that some of the Walgreen’s customers that refill their monthly prescriptions are going to have to look for a new pharmacist to refill their medications. I guess for the last year, Walgreens and Express Script have tried to negotiate a new contract and have been unsuccessful. Their contract expired on December 31, 2011 and now customers are being routed to other pharmacies for their prescriptions. This has effected all Walgreens nationwide as well as Duane Reade pharmacies in New York Area.
